Today was pretty much a transit day with a 91 klm ride, containing a couple of vicious little hills & mostly a nice tailwind (very cold). The temperature was quite cool, still 11 degrees at 11.30 am.
Pretty much only some passing pics today. The hotel tonight is opposite a prison with high grey concrete walls topped with razor wire. We are on the second floor, looking out the back & the scene out of the window is relaxing & rural
(& very green).
We had a buffet at the hotel tonight as it seemed easiest. My prime target for this trip is 'Braunau am Inn' which we will reach after a short 40 klm ride tomorrow, this is where my family came from & I have a little unfinished business there.
When we arrived here we went down the street to the enormous liquor store, & bought a small bottle of wine & a small bottle of Yeagermiester & a small bottle of white wine for a total cost of 2.18 euro. Booze here is cheaper than soft drink or bottled water.
