Arrival.. Whats lost ???

Fourteen & a half hours From Sydney to Dubai. Way too long.
Again the QANTAS club has been great, a hot shower & fresh fruit, yogurt & marinated figs for breakfast. We are on board another A380 headed for Frankfurt, right now once again over the Persion Gulf heading for Kuwait & Iraq, unless they change direction it will be the same route we took last time directly over Bahgdad & skirting the Syrian border. I thought they may have a route taken to the west of Syria to avoid flying over the ISIS trouble & crap below but it doesn't like that will happen.
The Gulf below is still full of oil tankers. It seems life must go on no matter what goes on around it.

At the last moment our aicraft turned east and traced our way over the Iranian mountains. Don't know if that feels any safer than Iraq with all those Russian made SAMs pointing skyward along the border. Anyway we turned left athe top of Iran, flew through Turkey & on into Europe finally arriving at Frankfurt at around 1.30pm local time. Bikes were there, luggage was lost.It seems it is touring the skies somewhere without us.
We dragged our bikes about 50 kilometres along rough cobblestone paths to our hotel. Where we met up with Kate & Mick, the 7th & 8th members of  our little troupe.
Dinner was at the little pub down the road. Lots of laughter & a good meal.
Now if only the luggage turns up all will be well.
We are really tired after 35 hours in transit & ready for the sack.
Dubai only for 2 hours

Our home for the last day & a half.

Turkey & a Lake

Aircraft tail cam as we lend in a wet Franfurt day.
